The Piocreat G12 is a high-performance, large-format pellet 3D printer engineered for industrial-scale additive manufacturing. Utilizing FGF (Fused Granulate Fabrication) technology, the G12 offers a cost-efficient alternative to traditional filament-based FDM printing using plastic pellets, commonly used as raw material in filament production. This allows manufacturers to reduce material costs while maintaining high-quality print results significantly.
Key Features and Benefits
FGF Technology: Similar to FDM but optimized for granulate materials. Pellets are melted via a rotating screw and extruded under pressure for consistent, high-volume output.
Massive Build Volume: With a build area of 1200 x 1000 x 1000 mm, the G12 supports large-scale parts and full-size prototypes, ideal for automotive, aerospace, and architectural applications.
High Throughput: The proprietary screw-type extruder delivers up to 5 kg/h material output, enabling fast production cycles with a maximum print speed of 100 mm/s.
Enclosed Heated Chamber: Maintains a constant 60 °C for improved layer adhesion and reduced warping—critical for high-strength, engineering-grade materials.
Advanced Material Compatibility: Supports a wide range of thermoplastics, including PLA, PETG, PVC, ABS, PA, PC, HDPE, TPU, EVA, fiber-reinforced composites, and recycled plastics. Compatible pellet sizes: 2–5 mm.
High-Temperature Extrusion: Reaches up to 450 °C, with interchangeable nozzles ranging from 0.6 mm to 6 mm, and layer thickness between 0.2 mm and 1.5 mm for superior part strength and surface quality.
Smart Features: Includes automatic bed leveling (BLTouch), pellet runout detection, and print resume function for uninterrupted operation in demanding environments.
