SBS (Styrene-butadiene-styrene) originates from Polystyrene with a combination of Polybutadiene. This combination results in tough yet flexible filament. However, it is not as flexible as TPU, although it is more flexible than PETG.

SBS has good layer adhesion and does not give off an odour when printing. 3D printing filaments are often subject to a certain level of hygroscopicity. SBS does not absorb moisture and therefore degrade as a result of moisture absorption.

FIL-X SBS is easy to print and another advantage of SBS is it can be smoothed using d-limonene.
